Mom's is on Highway 116, just beyond Guerneville Rd, Sebastopol. I live in Campbell and it is worth the two hour plus drive. The fresh and homemade fruit pies are delicious, as are the tarts. I choose an apple and it was suggested I wait a little as it had just been made. And, there were pumpkin, chocolate cream and banana cream pies and cookies! Hot coffee is available as well as ice cream and a variety of cold beverages. I hesitate to share - there is a little picnic area for customers hidden among beautiful flowers with a sweet view and a delightfully unique water fountain. In addition, the wonderful people who manage Mom's are gracious, kind and hospitable.

Great selection. Friendly server. Note these are fresh baked so expect to pay a bit more than at the supermarket. I liked the crust -- was not too thick -- and we were told that they don't deflate the tops so expect some filling shrink. But on berry and peach pie the fillings were fresh and with real fruit pieces. Not heavy on the starch. It's mostly a take away place but there is a nice couple of tables in the shade near the parking lot

I got the apple pie and chocolate cream pie. The apple pie is just the right amount of sweet and tart. The apples aren't crunchy and have a nice consistency. The staff didn't seem interested in helping and the amount of pies they actually had on hand wasn't many for a Sunday afternoon. The chocolate cream pie is a must. The chocolate was thick like a pudding and was delicious. Mildly firm and was not too sweet. The shop was dead though. Not one person in there which was pretty sad and dreary. Not much to make you stay there and eat either. But if I'm in the area I always go for a pie.

While driving from Bodega Bay, Jenner and Guernville were stopped in to pick up some dessert for after dinner later and discovered this great little place. We picked up two pies to go an Ape pie and a Strawberry Creme pie, both high domed and packed full of flavor. The strawberry was made with fresh strawberries and covered with a light whipped cream and the apple was made with local apples both were delicious. They offer a wide variety of pies freshly made in house and look forward to going back to try some more. Check it out if you are in the area, it's a must! Ciao
